Clare Ascani grew up listening to the vocal greats of the 1930s and 1940s. After falling in love with singing, she graduated from college with a Bachelor of Music degree from Trinity University, in San Antonio, Texas, and began singing in San Antonio and Dallas/Ft. Worth nightclubs. Ms. Ascani then moved to New York City in 1986 to pursue her dream to "sing in one of the most challenging cities in the world" and began singing in some of New York City’s venues and private arenas.
