The Gallery Crawl is a free quarterly showcase of art and entertainment in the heart of the Cultural District. All events take place at a variety of galleries and spaces and are FREE and open to the public. The event is ongoing between 5:30 and 9:00 pm, and patrons may start at any location.

1. Wood Street Galleries
601 Wood Street
in transit > Norwegian artist HC Gilje will have his US debut with a site-specific installation and several single channel video works using video projected light as a single lighting source.
2. SPACE

Out of Rubble > Guest curated by Susanne Slavick, this exhibition presents international artists who consider its causes and consequences, its finality and future, moving from decimation and disintegration to the possibilities of regeneration and recovery. Music by DJDJW and DJ Jordan K.
3. Cell Phone Disco
Tito & Exchange Way
A surface that visualizes the electromagnetic field of an active mobile phone. Several thousand lights illuminate when you make or receive a phone call in the vicinity of the installation.

Windows and Mirrors: Reflections on the War in Afghanistan > Art can be a dynamic way to help people reflect on important issues that impact our country. Windows and Mirrors is a traveling exhibit that provides an opportunity to see ourselves in depictions of the war in Afghanistan through the eyes of artists and children.

Pittsburgh Playwrights Theatre > photo exhibit of the works on Photographer Annie O'Neil during our three week run of Ray Werner's new play ELDER HOSTAGES.
